Marietta College is pleased to invite three scholars for a panel discussion regarding conceptions of God, morality, and ethics from an Eastern Christian perspective at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, October 27th, in the Timothy O. Cooper Auditorium (Thomas 124). Among other things, panelists will address such topics as contemporary atheism, the metaphysics of action, religious understandings, the philosophy of language, bioethics, the philosophy of race, and human rights ... and there will be pizza!  The panelists are: 

  • Dr. Joshua Brown, Veritas Classical Academy, Marietta, Ohio
  • Dr. Beau Branson, Brecia University, Owensboro, Kentucky
  • Dr. Tyler McNabb, St. Francis University, Loretto, Pennsylvania

This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome and encouraged to participate.
