As part of World Interfaith Harmony Week, Marietta College will feature a free screening of the film Holy Envy: Finding God in the Faith of Others at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, February 8th, in the Anderson Hancock Planetarium. The event is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the Office of Diversity & Inclusion and Mid-Ohio Valley Interfaith. The film features Barbara Brown Taylor, an Episcopal priest, professor and bestselling author, who recounts her discoveries of finding the sacred in unexpected places while teaching world religions to undergraduates in rural Georgia and reveals how God delights in confounding our expectations. She has served on the faculties of several colleges and seminaries. She has been recognized as one of the top 12 preachers in America and was named Georgia Woman of the Year in 2015.
