The Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) is an upcoming student organization that promotes an increased knowledge of and greater interest in the science, design, development, construction, languages, management and applications of modern computing. Some of the projects and activities that ACM plans to pursue include programming competitions, hackathons, robotics, virtual reality, and more. This organization is open to any Marietta College student regardless of major, so you don't have to be majoring in Computer Science or Information Systems to join.
They will have an information meeting at 3:00 p.m., Friday, February 8th in Selby 239. If you are interested, you are encouraged to attend the information meeting to find out more about what ACM has planned. If you're interested but unable to attend the meeting, you may contact Matt Williamson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
