Dr. Lorrie Faith Cranor, an expert in cybersecurity, will speak at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 10th, at the 2018 Ellis L. and Jennie Mae Krause Lecture in Science at Marietta College. The lecture will be held in the Alma McDonough Auditorium and is free and open to the public.

Cranor is a Professor of Computer Science and of Engineering and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University where she is director of the CyLab Usable Privacy and Security Laboratory (CUPS) and co-director of the MSIT-Privacy Engineering masters program. She is also a co-founder of Wombat Security Technologies, Inc. She has authored more than 100 research papers on online privacy, usable security, and other topics.
