The Office of Diversity and Inclusion presents the movie If Beale Street Could Talk (2018) in honor of Black History Month. As part of the Multicultural Friday series, this film screening will take place in the Multicultural Center at 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 21st. Light refreshments will be served and a short discussion will follow the film.
If Beale Street Could Talk is the story of a young woman fighting to clear the name of her unjustly arrested lover before the birth of their child. Content warnings: domestic abuse, sexual assault (not shown on screen).
