In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, the History Department in conjunction with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, will host a screening of the film, Te Ata. The film is based on the inspiring, true story of Mary Thompson Fisher, a woman who traversed cultural barriers to become one of the greatest Native American performers of all time. The screening will be held at 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 9th, in the Multicultural Center (Arts & Humanities House).
