Dr. Gary Morris, Dean of Natural Sciences at St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas, will speak at noon, Friday, November 2nd, in Bartlett 166 as part of the 2018-19 Physics Colloquium. Dr. Morris studies air quality using weather balloons. His Houston project includes more than 500 flights since 2004 involving more than 40 students, mostly undergraduates. His air quality work has taken him to Panama, Costa Rica, and Japan. Dr. Morris teaches physics, astronomy, meteorology and earth science. This event is free and open to the public.
