The Fall Semester portion of the 2018-19 Physics Colloquium at Marietta College closes with the planetarium show “Season of Light,” at noon, Friday, November 30th, in the Anderson Hancock Planetarium. This is a great way to prepare for the holiday season as you watch the full-dome show "Season of Light," which traces the history and development of numerous holiday traditions, including the Yule log, mistletoe, and the Christmas tree. The program concludes by exploring possible astronomical explanations for the Christmas star. Season of Light was created by Loch Ness Productions.
The Physics Department will provide pizza and drinks in the lobby after the show (about 12:30 p.m.). If you are planning to attend, please contact Andrea Richardson at email@example.com to ensure the right amount of pizza is ordered.
