Prepare for the holiday season once again at Marietta College's Anderson Hancock Planetarium with the full-dome show "Season of Light," at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 9th. "Season of Light" traces the history and development of numerous holiday traditions, including the Yule log, mistletoe, and the Christmas tree. The program concludes by exploring possible astronomical explanations for the Christmas star. Preceding Season of Light will be a brief star talk focusing on the late December sky. Season of Light was created by Loch Ness Productions.

Masks and reservations are required.

To make a reservation, guests can email or leave a voicemail at (740) 376-4827. Please specify which show you wish to attend and how many people will be in your party. Those calling should also leave a contact number. Reservations will be confirmed within two to three business days.
