The Theatre at Marietta College will perform [title of show] at 8:00 p.m., Saturday, September 28th, in the Friederich Theater. It is directed by adjunct professor Casiha Felt.
Broadway enthusiasts rejoice over this fun, feisty love letter to musical theatre. Jeff and Hunter, two struggling writers, hear about a new musical theatre festival, but the submissions deadline is only three weeks away! With nothing to lose, the pair teams up with their friends Susan, Heidi and Larry on the eighty-eights and agree to write until the deadline. [title of show] — taken from the space on the festival’s application form which asks for the [title of show] — follows Hunter and Jeff and their friends on their journey through the gauntlet of creative self-expression. Music and lyrics are by Jeff Bowen and it is based on the book by Hunter Bell. This show is equivalent to a PG-13 movie rating.
Ticket prices are $20 for adults and $15 for senior citizens and children under 18. Tickets are available through www.marietta.edu/boxoffice. Marietta College students, employees, and immediate families of employees may get free tickets at the box office on the day of the performance by presenting a Marietta College ID.
