McDonough offers a wide variety of projects for McDonough Scholars so they can put leadership into action. While participation in PLAs is optional, leadership students are encouraged to become involved and learn from those experiences. A call is sent out every spring with the PLAs for the following academic year. Students respond to this call with their top-three preferences. The McDonough staff makes the Project Leader Assignments during the summer.
