Biography

Abigail Klicker '13 returned to her alma mater in July 2018 as the head women's rowing coach. Klicker spent the three years prior to coming to Marietta on the women’s rowing coaching staff at Bucknell University, an NCAA Division I member of the Patriot League. Klicker started as the recruiting coordinator for the Bison before becoming the head novice coach and then Bucknell’s top assistant.

A four-year varsity oarswoman for the Pioneers, Klicker was a two-time All-Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference rower and three-time CRCA National Scholar-Athlete. She helped the Pioneers to a pair of Dad Vail Division II/Division III varsity 8+ gold medals and back-to-back NCAA Division III Championship appearances in 2011 and 2012. Klicker began her coaching career as a volunteer coach at Pine-Richland High School in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania in 2014. She spent the 2014-15 academic year as the head freshman rowing coach at Oakland Catholic High School in Pittsburgh. Pennsylvania.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Studio Art from Marietta in 2013 as she graduated Magna Cum Laude. In addition, she was awarded a certificate in Leadership.
