Biography

Mr. Clifton was born and raised in the "Queen City" better known as Charlotte, North Carolina. He received his bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, from North Carolina Central University, a public four-year historically black college/institution that prides itself and its liberal arts studies. He received his master's degree in Higher Education in Student Affairs from New York University this past May.

Mr. Clifton looks forward to being an active member of the Marietta College community. He wants to prepare and shape Marietta students to be leaders of tomorrow. Beginning in his role, he wants to create avenues for students to get more involved and have spaces to express themselves. Working in accordance with Dr. Friday's campus-wide strategy, Mr. Clifton hopes to be a part of taking Marietta to the next level and beyond.
