Chelsey Keding was born and raised in Wheeling, West Virginia, and is thrilled to be at Marietta College sharing her love of the performing arts. She began singing and studying music and acting at the age of 7, and went on to receive a Bachelor of Music degree in classical voice from Manhattan School of Music Conservatory. She then spent the next 10 years performing in New York City and around the world. Among her favorite credits are: "Voca People" Off-Broadway at New World Stages and the International Tour (Israel, Russia, Mexico), "Tempest Tossed" Off-Broadway at Cherry Lane Theatre, "Scrooge the Musical" National Tour, Concerts at Carnegie Hall and Madison Square Garden with the Grammy-nominated group Broadway Inspirational Voices, and being seen on TV shows such as Live with Kelly, Wendy Williams and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. It was through all of these experiences that Chelsey became aware of what a life-changing and healing response people can have to music, sound and energy. This led her to The New York Open Center Sound and Music Institute where she completed the Integrative Sound and Music Training Program in 2014. She also studied Reiki I and II at the Open Center and received her Reiki Master Certification through the Center For True Health in New York in 2017. Chelsey currently runs her own Voice Studio "Shine Your Sound Studio" and the toddler music program at CA House in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
