Chuck Stinemetz
Biography
Chuck Stinemetz is Marietta College's Interim Provost and Dean of the Faculty. Most recently, he served as the Provost at Ohio Wesleyan University from 2012-19, and Dean of Academic Affairs from 2006-12. While serving as Provost, he led the faculty in the development of the OWU Connection curricular program, development of new majors, modification of the faculty evaluation process, and new student success programing.
He also served on the Rhodes College Faculty from 1989-2006 in Biology where he taught courses in Plant Physiology, Mechanisms in Developmental Biology, and Space Biology. From 1996-1997 served as a MONBUSHO Visiting Scholar at Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan, investigating root growth under altered gravity and water conditions.
