Biography

Oboist, Evan Klein, received his Bachelor of Music degree in Oboe Performance from the prestigious Manhattan School of Music in New York City. He was the recipient of two Graduate Assistantship Awards from Kent State University (MM) and West Virginia University (DMA). His teachers have included: Danna Sundet, Stephen Taylor, Tom Stacy, and Cynthia Anderson.

In addition to his career as an educator, Evan is a freelancing artist having made appearances with the Erie Philharmonic, Mansfield Symphony, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Orchestra, Warren Philharmonic, Wheeling Symphony, and Youngstown Symphony. Notably, he has performed as a concerto soloist with the Lakeland Civic Orchestra in Ohio.
