Gene Neill

MCAA Board - Class of 2016


Gene resides in the greater Cincinnati, Ohio region working with Macy’s, Inc. focusing on company-wide talent development initiatives. He has worked in the areas of learning and leadership development, recruitment, and as an HR business partner during his time. Gene is also pursuing a Master of Arts in Mental Health from Xavier University to continue expanding knowledge and interest areas.

He earned his B.A. from Marietta College in Organizational Communication and Human Resource Management with a minor in Leadership Studies in 2016. During his time at Marietta, Gene was involved with Student Government, the McDonough Leadership Program, was President of Omicron Delta Kappa, and was a Community Advisor with the Office of Community Living. Outside work and school, Gene enjoys teaching and practicing yoga as a certified instructor, spending time reading at local coffee shops, and getting outside with his dog. He is honored to give back to the Marietta College community through the MCAA.
