Biography
Dr. Scott Tignor has performed throughout the United States and is an enthusiast of electroacoustic tuba music. He has served as principal tubist with the Midland/Odessa Symphony and Chorale, Garland Symphony Orchestra, Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra, and New Symphony of Arlington. Dr. Tignor is the Director of Bands at Ravenswood High/Middle Schools in Ravenswood, West Virginia, and is an instructor at Marietta College. He has held previous positions at Mineral Wells (Texas) Schools, Ritchie County Schools in Ellenboro, West Virginia, and West Liberty University. In 2010, he was selected as the National Symphony Teacher Fellow.
