Biography

Zach Feltrop joined the Marietta College coaching staff in the spring of 2019 as the Pioneers’ defensive coordinator. He also coaches the linebackers. Feltrop comes to Marietta after serving as an assistant coach at his alma mater Geneva College, an NCAA Division III member of the Presidents’ Athletic Conference, for eight seasons. He joined the Golden Tornado staff as linebackers coach in 2011. Feltrop took on the added responsibility of head junior varsity coach in 2013 and was promoted to defensive coordinator in 2015. He has coached 25 All-PAC players and had five players earn either National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) or Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) All-American honors. A four-year varsity letter winner at Geneva, Feltrop started three seasons at linebacker and served as a team captain his senior season. He earned all-conference honors three times and was twice named an NCCAA All-American. Feltrop led the Golden Tornadoes in tackles during three of his four seasons.

He and his wife Ericka reside in Williamstown, West Virginia, with their son, Sam.
