What makes our program different?

Grounded in a Liberal Arts education, with a strong Business curriculum, the Sport Management degree allows students to double-major and/or earn a minor in other areas of interest, strengthening their academic portfolio, expanding their knowledge base, and gain a variety of experiences that translate well during job interviews. The degree plan includes classes in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, and sports-specific courses, as well as the General Education curriculum requirements.

The Sport Management degree at Marietta College offers students a chance to be involved in real-life projects through simulation scenarios, on-the-site volunteer and work training, directly working with professionals in the industry on projects, through a professional network (mentor) assignment program, and completing two for-credit internships.
