What will you learn from minoring in Energy Systems Studies?

The world needs creative problem solvers who have a strong foundation of knowledge in a variety of energy systems. Students gain the social, economic, and technical knowledge needed to make informed energy system decisions for renewable and non-renewable sources.

Be Prepared for Anything

The Minor in Energy Systems Studies is a 23-credit-hour program that provides students with a fundamental knowledge of energy systems, preparing them for entry-level positions in the energy industry, graduate school, government services, and other areas of professional development.

Liberal Arts Approach

The curriculum provides practical experiences assessing energy systems — including generation, transmission, resource utilization, and environmental impact — as well as gives students an understanding of environmental and sustainability issues related to global energy systems.
