We are asking students to participate in disinfecting residence hall spaces. Each floor or room will be required to follow a specific code of behavior for their area to include disinfecting toilet seats, flushers, sink knobs and door handles in restrooms with provided disinfectant after each use. Students are also required to clean and disinfect shared areas (e.g., kitchens, laundry rooms and lounges). Instructions will be provided in designated areas. Students are recommended to create a shared agreement by floor or unit to decide distribution of student disinfection duties. This is in addition to the regular cleaning and disinfection schedule of the College’s Housekeeping staff.

In living spaces with shared bathrooms, residents should avoid placing toothbrushes directly on counter surfaces. Plastic bags or containers should be used for personal items to limit contact with bathroom surfaces.
