Dear Marietta College Community,
Next week (April 19th through April 23rd), Marietta College will proudly put on display the outstanding undergraduate research of our students during All Scholars Week. I know you will join me in congratulating each student participant.
All Scholars Week provides students an opportunity to share their research, creative projects, and senior capstone projects with the Marietta College community. Many of you are familiar with our traditional All Scholars Day, which started in 2011. This year it will feature an entire week of virtual presentations, performances, demonstrations, and discussions. It will allow us to showcase the importance of the liberal arts at Marietta College and share it with a broader audience.
This campus-wide celebration of scholarship has something for everyone, and I encourage you to check out a presentation or more on Underline — an impressive online resource for making virtual presentations. I urge you to plan your week now and review the schedule of presentations now. It would also help if you could register in advance.
I also want to applaud our faculty for providing supervision and mentorship that have helped the students learn valuable lessons and grow as scholars. And when you get a chance, please give a big thank you to Dr. Suzanne Parsons, who organized this year’s impressive week.
Trust me, you don’t want to miss it.
Bring Forth a Pioneer!
