Dear Marietta College Students,
Fall classes are coming to an end, and I want to congratulate each of you on having a successful fall semester. Best of luck with your final exams next week — be sure to get plenty of sleep, eat well, and study hard.
Judy and I look forward to seeing you before finals, either during Sunday’s Late Night Breakfast – December 9th — from 9:00-11:00 p.m. or Monday’s Cookies and Milk – December 10th at the Legacy Library starting at 8:00 p.m.
If you are completing your degree requirements this semester, Congratulations and I hope to see you at the December Graduation Celebration on Sunday, December 9th.
We have experienced many significant accomplishments at Marietta since our first day in August. Generations of Marietta College students have stepped up to make a difference in our community, and I am honored to say you are continuing this proud tradition. You did it as students, artists, athletes, musicians, volunteers and in a variety of other ways. Thank You for Bringing Forth a Pioneer.
You are impressive, and I want to tell you that you inspire me each and every day to do my best to represent Marietta College. Please take time to relax and enjoy your time away from campus safely with your family and friends during the holiday season.
Have a great winter break,
Bill Ruud
President and Professor of Management
