Dear Marietta College Family:

Marietta College is deeply committed to supporting and enhancing the teaching effectiveness and professional development of our educators. Through the hard work of Academic Affairs and Human Resources, the College is offering a new Graduate Tuition Assistance program effective January 1, 2018.

Our purpose for this new program is to attract, retain and engage our high-potential employees by providing them with an opportunity to apply for graduate tuition assistance. There are some exclusions, and not everyone will be eligible for the program. For complete details on the program, please see the attached document.

If you have additional questions, please contact Debbie Wayland in Human Resources or Dr. Mark Miller in Academic Affairs.

As an institution of higher education, we fully support and embrace the value of continuing education and believe providing this opportunity is long overdue and will enhance our total compensation package.

I hope you are as excited about this new initiative at Marietta College as I am. I also want to thank everyone who was involved in the research and planning of the program.

Bring Forth a Pioneer!

Bill Ruud
President and Professor of Management
