Samuel Cruz, Assistant Professor of Modern Languages at Marietta College, has recently published an article in the Routledge Companion to Gender, Sex, and Latin American Culture.
Marietta College is hosting two days of music, workshops and dance in the Capoeira-style as a part of the Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration on October 5th-6th.

As ingredients are mixed and scents are born, you will be transported to the kitchens of Oaxaca, Mexico.
Marietta College’s Department of English & Modern Languages recently inducted six students into Sigma Tau Delta and one student into Sigma Delta Pi as part of a larger awards program on April 3 in the Prince Forum.
Core Ensemble, who has been acclaimed for the development of a new genre of chamber music theatre works, will perform Tres Vidas at Marietta College at 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 13th.
It will be performed at the Friederich Theatre in the Hermann Fine Arts Center.
Dr. Frederick Aldama, Arts & Humanities Distinguished Professor at The Ohio State University, will be at Marietta College making presentations and interacting with students on Monday, Sept. 19, as part of Hispanic Heritage Month on campus.
