Dr. Harrison Potter ’08, Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Marietta College, will present “The Precession in the Perihelion of the Orbit of Mercury,” at noon, Friday, February 15th, in Bartlett 166. Dr. Potter's presentation is part of the College's spring Physics Colloquium.
Marietta College's Physics Department has chosen "The Voyager Encounters" for the February 1st Physics Colloquium in recognition of Voyager 2 leaving the solar system on November 5, 2018. The show will be held at noon, Friday, February 1st at the Anderson Hancock Planetarium. It is free and open to the public.
Dr. Martin Weinhous of Cleveland State University will present “Medical Physics: A Brief Discussion of the History, Profession, Science & Practice,” at noon, Friday, January 18th, in Bartlett 166. Dr. Weinhous' presentation will kick off the spring semester of the College's Physics Colloquium.
