Planetarium Show: The Cowboy Astronomer

Please join the College for a showing of "The Hot and Energetic Universe," at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 16th, in the Anderson Hancock Planetarium. Along with this show, which has not yet been viewed as part of a public program, there will also be a live star talk about what is happening in the spring sky.
If you have never visited the Anderson Hancock Planetarium, this event is for you. This semester's Astronomy 106 class is putting on a planetarium show consisting of a student-given star talk followed by a viewing of the full-dome program "Seven Wonders," at 7:15 p.m., Thursday, April 11th.
Please join the College for a showing of "From Earth to the Universe," at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 25th in the Anderson Hancock Planetarium. Along with this show, which has not yet been viewed as part of a public program, there will also be a live star talk about what is happening in the spring sky.
Please join the College for a showing of the full-dome program "Galileo: The Power of the Telescope," created by the Milwaukee Public Museum, at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 28th in the Anderson Hancock Planetarium. This program will begin with a look at the stars and planets visible in the current night sky.
Come view an old favorite that includes visualizations of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World along with an additional seven astronomical wonders at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 28th, at the Anderson Hancock Planetarium. This program will include a live star talk about what is happening in the early spring sky.
Please join us for “Europe to the Stars”, a new planetarium show from the European Southern Observatory (ESO) that tells the story of ESO’s exploration of the southern sky, at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 27th.
