For the second time since he arrived in 2016, Marietta College’s Board of Trustees has awarded President William N. Ruud a contract extension.

The University of Toledo College of Law and Marietta College announced a 3+3 program partnership on Nov. 8, 2019, to offer Marietta College students a faster path to complete their law degree.
President Ruud and his wife, Judy, would like to show their appreciation by providing chocolate chip cookies and cold milk to students studying in Legacy Library starting at 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 18th. Because of COVID-19, the Ruuds will not be there in person, but they are providing the pre-packaged cookies and milk.
The Student Government Association (SGA) is hosting the annual Panel with the President from 7:00-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 6th, in the Timothy O. Cooper Auditorium (Thomas 124). This event will include a panel of members of the College's administration, including President Bill Ruud, and they will be there to answer student questions.
During an executive session on Thursday, Oct. 11th, Marietta College’s Board of Trustees unanimously approved a two-year contract extension for President William N. Ruud.
Ruud, who is the 19th President since Marietta was founded in 1835, will be with the College through 2022.
