While enjoying world-famous barbecue the night before the Reds' Opening Day, dozens of Pioneer alumni joined with Marietta College's Office of Alumni Relations to celebrate the leadership and vision of Dr. Jean Scott upon the occasion of her retirement. Alumni also visited with students who spent the day in Cincinnati networking and preparing for their future in a program sponsored by the Career Center and Office of International Programs. In addition, the Office of Alumni Relations shared news of an initiative to establish an alumni organization in the Queen City area and invited interested Pioneers to contact Sarah Kelly, Assistant Director for Regional and Young Alumni Programs, for further information on the new Regional Association.
