The Marietta College Alumni Association is pleased to announce a new resource for our newest members of The Long Blue Line, the Class of 2008, as well as all our undergraduates.
CashCourse is currently available, thanks to a brand new agreement with the National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE). It contains all sorts of helpful information and practical tips for managing personal finances and we believe it will provide a valuable resource for those seeking assistance with important money matters.

Plenty of Pioneers at The Elbow Room in West Hartford as Marietta College hosted a spring social for its Connecticut and Western Massachusetts alumni. Trustee Don Strickland '66 joined the crowd and welcomed the alumni group.
The very next evening in Boston, dozens more Pioneers gathered for a spirited social at McFadden's downtown near Faneuil Hall (above). Remarks were shared with the group by Trustees Bill O'Grady '70 and Pat Curtin '69 who joined the group as well.

2008 Board of Trustee NomineesOne of the most significant and important ways an individual may contribute to Marietta College is by serving on the Board of Trustees. Once a year, in a ballot distributed to all alumni, a fellow Pioneer is selected to step forward from The Long Blue Line and represent their constituency’s interests and concerns to the Board of Trustees.

Coal, oil and natural gas are as staple to the world’s energy consumption as grains, dairy and meats are to the food pyramid.
