The Academic Resource Center offers a resource library containing a wide variety of helpful materials available for use in the ARC:

  • Foreign language dictionaries (German, French, and Spanish)
  • Books and handouts on study skills and time management, including Learning and Study Strategies Inventory (LASSI)
  • Handouts on test-taking strategies
  • An MLA handbook, Dictionary, Thesaurus, and Vocabulary Builder sets
  • Various textbooks (math, sociology, etc.)

This site provides information about basic math and algebra. Helps to identify a student's learning style and contains links to information about learning styles, study skills tips, and ways to reduce math anxiety.

Students can strengthen their understanding through interactive tutorials and study aids, or, they can more deeply explore concepts through real-world applications and Web links for further research.
