Professor Powell has served as curator for exhibitions at Boston University and Western Carolina. Her art has been featured at a number of exhibitions around the nation, including the Washington Art Association in Washington Depot, Conn., in March of 2006.
She teaches courses in drawing, printmaking and painting at Marietta College.
