Senior Art Exhibition Opens Saturday, Apr. 19

The Marietta College Art Department is proud to announce the Senior Art Exhibition entitled “I Am…”
This exhibition is the Senior Capstone for all Graphic Design and Art majors of the class of 2008. The show will be from April 19 to May 17. An opening reception is scheduled for April 19, 2008, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Hermann Fine Art Gallery, located on the third floor of the Hermann Fine Arts building at Fourth and Butler Streets on the Marietta College campus; light refreshments will be served.
The exhibition features a variety of mediums from the 17 seniors participating in the show, ranging from monoprint and painting to digital illustration and branding.

The exhibition is free and open to the public. Regular gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Hermann Fine Arts Center is handicapped accessible. Please contact the Marietta College Art Department for further information at 740-376-4696.
Art Student is Finalist in the 2007 Midwest Scholarship Competition

Please join the Art Department in congratulating Amelia Schroeder. Her oil painting, titled "Blue Eyes (Self-Portrait)," has been chosen as a Finalist in the 2007 Midwest Scholarship Competition.
