December Graduation Celebration
While the majority of our graduates finish their education in the spring, Marietta College strives to recognize those who finish their requirements in December of the academic year. The ceremony is a less formal recognition of those students who will receive their diplomas in May, but no less important. Many students choose to walk in the official commencement in May, but this December ceremony gives students the recognition they deserve.
Students who graduate in December are counted as members of the class that graduated in the previous spring semester.
2009 December Graduation Celebration
Date: December 5, 2009
Time: 1:30 p.m.
Location: McDonough Auditorium
The celebration will continue after the ceremony with a reception in 3rd floor Gallery.
Students need to respond by November 20 to Paula Lewis at ext. 4633 (740.376.4633) or paula.lewis@marietta.edu and let her know whether or not you and your family/friends will be able to attend the Celebration. A table will be set up in the lobby of the McDonough Center for all graduates to check in on the day of the Celebration. Check-in is required for all graduates attending the ceremony.
