Experience learning the way it’s meant to be lived
Founded by revolutionary thinkers and original explorers, Marietta College has always believed learning should be lived—not just studied. Between two rivers, in a place shaped by persistence and a pioneering spirit, you’ll find an education rooted in human connection and life‑changing experiences.
Here, learning goes beyond the classroom. Through The Landmark Experience, you’ll lead, explore, create, and connect in ways that shape not only your future—but who you are becoming.
This is more than a visit.
This is the beginning of something that’s made for you.
Schedule an on-campus visit
There’s something powerful about being here in person—standing alongside history, walking paths shaped by generations, and imagining yourself as part of what comes next. You – and your family – can schedule an individual visit any weekday.
9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
An on‑campus visit typically includes:
- A student‑led campus tour that shows you daily life at Marietta
- An admission overview to help you understand your next steps
- Opportunities to connect with academic programs, faculty, and coaches
- A chance to sit in a class and enjoy a meal in our dining hall
- Time to ask questions, reflect, and discover what excites you
It’s not about seeing everything—it’s about discovering what matters most to you.

Experience campus with a small-group Saturday visit
There’s no single path to Marietta, and no one‑size‑fits‑all visit. Whether you’re just beginning your college search or deciding where you’ll call home, we’ll help you explore in a way that feels authentic and meaningful.
During fall and spring semesters, we offer small group tours that are combined with a group admission information session.
Every visit is an opportunity to:
- Explore a historic campus alive with creativity and possibility
- Connect with people who care deeply about your goals
- Create a vision for your academic and personal journey
- Lead yourself toward confident, informed decisions about your future
You won’t just see the campus—you’ll feel what it means to belong here.
At Marietta, learning is active, personal, and purpose‑driven.
The Landmark Experience is how everything comes together at Marietta—academics, leadership, real‑world learning, and community—to prepare you to meet the world and grow with it.
When you visit campus, you’ll see The Landmark Experience in action:
- Students working alongside faculty mentors
- Conversations that turn curiosity into leadership
- Hands‑on spaces where ideas become action
- A community that knows you fully and supports you deeply
See for yourself how this is an education designed to help you connect knowledge with purpose—and to feel confident in what comes next.
