As a graduate of Marietta College, and a member of a National Championship Baseball Team, I am excited to begin my eleventh year in admissions!
Previously, I have worked for 3M Corp., and TV Guide.
My wife, also a Marietta College alum, teaches first grade. We have two sons, ages twleve and nine. My favorite hobby is golf, but I enjoy all sports. My whole family enjoys rooting on our Pioneers!

Favorite Marietta Tradition:
The annual Matriculation Ceremony is my favorite Marietta College tradition. Our faculty are dressed in full cap and gown! They lead our new students into a ceremony of commitment to excellence. It is a proud and impressive moment for everyone! This is the continuation of our "Long Blue Line."
Favorite Place to Visit on the Marietta Campus:
My favorite place is to be on The Mall, especially when classes are between sessions. As we pass, I appreciate the friendliness of our students and faculty. Sounds of conversations and laughter fill the air. Smiling and confident faces are seen. The Mall is a great place to visit!!

I have worked at Marietta College since 1991. I am a Marietta College graduate, as are my two children.
I assist transfer students and veterans with the application process. In addition, I visit community colleges and attend transfer college fairs to recruit prospective students.
On a personal note, I love to take advantage of the city's location at the confluence of the Ohio and Muskingum Rivers to row my kayak.
I also enjoy the bike/walk path that leads along the river's edge.
Favorite Marietta Tradition:
The practice of lining up faculty/staff/students in procession before/after graduation ceremonies. This represents to me the "Long Blue Line" and always makes me proud to be a part of the Marietta College community.

I graduated from Marietta College in 2002 with a Major in Business Management and two Minors in Leadership Studies and Spaish. While on campus I was very involved with Residence Life as a Resident Assistant.
I worked for the Leadership Office as my work study job and served on the McDonough Student Advisory Board as President. My involvement with Spanish and Community Service raised my interest in finding a broader way to serve after graduation.
Soon after graduation, I left for Ghana, West Africa, to serve in the Peace Corps for two years as a small business volunteer. I worked for Mellon Bank for a short time before coming across an opportunity to work with Marietta College again.
I am thrilled to be working with all of you. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!

Favorite Marietta Tradition:
I just love the bell tower on campus and how you can hear the bells no matter where you are on campus.
When a class matriculates, we ring the bells once for every student who is joining the "Long Blue Line." This long-standing tradition symbolizes how we really are like a family at Marietta College.
Favorite Place to Visit on the Marietta Campus:
I always look forward to eating at Gilman, the dining hall, when I am on campus. I enjoy my food and Gilman does it well!

I enjoy traveling to towns such as Athens, McConnelsville, Pomeroy, Ironton, Chillicothe, and bigger cities including Cincinnati and Dayton. (All my counties include Morgan, Athens, Meigs, Vinton, Jackson, Gallia, Lawrence, Scioto, Pike, Ross, Fayette, Highland, Adams, Brown, Clinton, Greene, Clark, Miami, Montgomery, Warren, Clermont, Hamilton, Butler, Preble, and Darke.)
In the office I coordinate open houses, oversee the tour guides, the liaison between admissions and the honors program, and other various duties. (One of my favorites is creating the holiday card.) I reside in Marietta with my wife Carrie, and enjoy walking the historical areas of the city, reading, and traveling.

After graduating from Transylvania University in 2009, I came to work for Marietta College's Office of Admission. My time as a tour guide in college really fueled my interest in working with high school students and helping them find their new home.

When I'm not on the road I like to spend my time outside biking or hanging out in my back yard. But when I can't be I am usually playing with my new kittens, Izzy and Cloe.

I am so thrilled to be a part of the admissions staff here at Marietta! After completing a phenomenal four years here as a member of the women's rowing program that earned back-to-back Mid-Atlantic Conference championship titles and coveted Dad Vail Gold medals, a member of Alpha Xi Delta Women's Fraternity and a senior interviewer for admissions, I wanted the opportunity to give back to Marietta College what it has given to me.
I look forward to sharing all of the great opportunities Marietta College has to offer with the students and families I am working with, in hopes that they will have a similarly exciting and memorable college experience here.
I love my work, but when I am not in my office or on the road, I enjoy rowing, running, being outdoors and shopping.

After graduating from Bowling Green State University in 2012, I came to work as an Admission Counselor at Marietta College. My experiences working in college admissions throughout my undergraduate career were very rewarding. Those experiences as a student served as a key indicator that I wanted to continue in college admissions and pursue this field as a career.
I am the admission counselor for students in Ohio who are from Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson, Monroe, Muskingum, Noble, and Tuscarawas Counties. I also work with students in Ohio who are from Northwestern Ohio. That region includes cities such as Toledo, Findlay, Lima, Sandusky, and Mansfield. In addition, I also work with all students who are from the state of Pennsylvania. In the office, I am the supervisor of the campus tour guide program.
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, playing sports, attending Drum Corps International and Winter Guard International events, and exploring all of the local businesses, shops, and restaurants that Marietta has to offer. I also spend my time teaching high school marching band color guard in the fall, and winter guard in the winter.

I knew I had a passion for helping students through the college admissions process after working as a student in the admissions office of my alma mater, Allegheny College. I became a part of the Marietta community in 2012 and I have really enjoyed getting to know Marietta College students, faculty and staff.
