The Academic Resource Center (ARC) was founded in 1999 in order to provide resources and services to assist all Marietta College students in the acquisition of information and development of skills to achieve their academic potential. The ARC provides subject tutoring support, individual advising sessions, study tables for athletic and Greek organizations on campus, hosts workshops for students and faculty, and provides support for students with disabilities. In 2013, the Academic Resource Center merged with the Campus Writing Center, which was administered by faculty in the English Department for over 35 years. This merger has allowed the Academic Resource Center to bring all academic student-support services under one umbrella to better serve you.

Our main office is located on the 3rd floor of Andrews. For individual academic assistance, study tables information, acessibility services for students with documented disabilities, or general questions, please contact our Administrative Coordinator, Tracey Wynn: 740-376-4700 or arc@marietta.edu

Our Writing Center is located in 221 Thomas Hall, and our Tutoring & Learning Center is located in Bartlett 370.  For assistance or information about any of our tutoring services, please tutoring information or help with the online schedule, please contact the Academic Support Coordinator, Keira Hambrick: 740-376-4651 or tutoring@marietta.edu.
