What can a student expect when taking one of your classes?
Many different ways to engage with course material, for many of my classes are a hybrid of in class and online information and interaction.
What excites you about teaching at Marietta College?
I really like the small class sizes that enable me to get to know my students on a more personal level.
When you aren’t teaching, what other activities do you enjoy?
Reading, baking, watching movies, walking, hiking, running, cycling, kayaking, just being outdoors, and spending time with my family.
Do you prefer flipping through the pages of a book or an e-book?
Although I like both, my favorite is still our oldest mass medium, a printed book.
What is your favorite location on campus and why?
Media Studies Department because of the wonderful students!
What is your favorite Marietta College event?
Graduation. Although a bittersweet event, I’m excited to see students reach that goal and move on to a new chapter in their lives.
