The field of communication is growing quickly, and there are many opportunities if you have the right education. After all, understanding how people communicate is a skill with unlimited applications in the world of work. At Marietta, you'll get that education by studying the theory of communication in small classes taught by award-winning faculty, and then applying that theory to situations in the real world.

In our Communication Studies major, you'll learn to analyze audiences, develop arguments, prove ideas, and practice effective delivery methods through classroom lectures and discussions, as well as through real-world engagement in internships.
