Ihe city features a thriving downtown with brick streets, the historic Lafayette Hotel, the Peoples Bank Theatre, and Mound Cemetery, which holds the highest number of Revolutionary War officers buried in one place. It has also been recognized by National Geographic as one of the best adventure towns, with access to Wayne National Forest, riverboat cruises on the Valley Gem, and extensive walking/biking trails.

Marietta College Conference Services is a full-service operation that is equipped to provide our guests with comprehensive event and conference planning, from event conception to completion.
The Andrews Hall Great Room originally served as the institution’s chapel before a conversion to use it as the Little Theatre for dramatic performances. Today, the Great Room hosts several campus functions and includes AV equipment, a small kitchenette and can be set up for banquet or workshop configurations.
Dyson Baudo Recreation Center, fondly called DBRC, is a multi-purpose facility that includes an indoor track and facilities for field events. The room include multiple basketball courts.
With the pliable "walls" lowered, the area can be divided into up to 3 separate rooms, or can be opened into one large conerence facility. The space can be fitted with AV functionality and raised dais or risers. This space is used for Marietta College's commencement and the by several other education institutions for that purpose, as well.
Fenton Court, in the Ban Johnson Field House, is connected to the DBRC facilities. The gymnasium is used for basketball and volleyball, but also includes a large conference room in the balconey area shown at the far end of the photo.
Locker rooms, restooms and a concession stand area are available.
Harrison Hall is one of five residence halls available on the campus that can accommodate overnight camps during summer.
