H.O.M.E. (Honoring Our Marietta Experience) is a required event for all new students that is designed to prepare you for the social, cultural and academic expectations of Marietta College. During this program, you will meet other new students and interact with faculty and staff as you participate in a signature leadership program, explore your strengths, become acclimated to the College community, and prepare for the academic rigor of Marietta College.

Your H.O.M.E. experience will be led by the H.O.M.E. team, student leaders who are trained to help you successfully navigate your first few days of college life. They will share with you their experiences and wisdom, making sure that you are prepared to start classes on Monday. The final event of H.O.M.E. is the first-year excursion.

H.O.M.E. is an experience that you will not soon forget, it is an essential part of your Marietta journey.

First Year Move-In is from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 18th. Questions regarding H.O.M.E. can be directed to Amanda Mullen, Associate Dean of Students and Director of New Student Engagement and Transition Programs.
