About the Academic Resource Center

The Academic Resource Center (ARC) was founded in 1999 to provide resources and services to assist all Marietta College students in acquiring information and developing skills to achieve their academic potential. The ARC provides subject tutoring support, individual advising sessions, study tables for athletic and Greek organizations on campus, hosts workshops for students and faculty, and supports students with disabilities. In 2013, the Academic Resource Center merged with the Campus Writing Center, which was administered by faculty in the English Department for over 35 years. This merger has allowed the Academic Resource Center to bring all academic student-support services under one umbrella to serve you better.

Our main office is located on the third floor of Andrews Hall. For individual academic assistance, study table information, accessibility services for students with documented disabilities, or general questions, please contact us at 740.376.4700 or arc@marietta.edu.

The ARC Writing Center is located in Thomas 222, and the ARC Tutoring & Learning Center is located in Bartlett 370. For assistance or information about any of our tutoring services or for help with the online schedule at MyWCo.com/Marietta, please contact the ARC Tutoring & Learning Center at 740.376.4651 or tutoring@marietta.edu.
