Where your college experience comes to life
Being involved on campus is one of the most powerful ways to shape your college experience. Through clubs, events, workshops, and co‑curricular programs, students find spaces to explore their interests, build confidence, and form meaningful connections that last well beyond graduation.
A vibrant campus life also fosters a welcoming environment where students are encouraged to think critically, engage in honest dialogue, and contribute to a diverse and inclusive community. These experiences broaden perspectives, nurture creativity, and inspire students to become engaged citizens and thoughtful leaders.
The Office of Campus Involvement (OCI)
OCI is a central hub of extra- and co-curricular student involvement, campus events, workshops, and programs on the Marietta College campus.
Involvement during your college career is closely tied to developing self-expression and self-awareness, as well as fostering success during your time here and after graduation. The OCI staff is committed to the growth of Marietta College students by providing opportunities outside the classroom that connect and complement your academic aspirations.
OCI Mission
The Office of Campus Involvement, guided by and in support of the mission of Marietta College, enables students to develop independent thought, self-expression, and self-awareness, as well as define their personal leadership style by offering various workshops, events, and programs. The office enhances the personal growth of individual students by offering extracurricular opportunities that align with their academic goals, and fostering experiential learning. This includes participation in student organizations and co-curricular activities.
OCI Vision
The Office of Campus Involvement strives to create and foster a safe and healthy environment where all students are encouraged to think critically, dialogue honestly, and act passionately within their community. The office aspires to aid our students and student organizations in developing programs and activities to catalyze the positive exchange of diverse social, cultural, and intellectual ideas. We hope these experiences will add to and help shape each student's life perspective, creating enlightened future leaders and engaged global citizens.
