Find a quiet place to write alongside congenial colleagues each Wednesday from May 21 through August 6. Bring a laptop to room 219 in Legacy Library from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.

Marietta Welfare League sponsors free Music in the Park every Thursday in June, July and August at the gazebo in Muskingum Park on Front Street. The featured band for Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. is The Hopewell.

Downtown First Friday events take place the first Friday of every month from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Highlights of these events include shops open late, local artists and musicians, area organizations, and various happenings around town.

This free, DORA-friendly event will be held on Putnam Street in front of Peoples Bank Theatre. No tickets are necessary to attend. Lawn chairs are welcome!
