Marietta College's English Department will be hosting a Poetry and Creative Nonfiction Reading by the Lucas Visiting Writer, Mary Quade on September 24, 2026. The reading will begin at 5:00 p.m. in McDonough Auditorium and will be followed by a reception in the Betty Cleland Room.

The Marietta College Art Department is pleased to present Subtle & Bold, a solo exhibition with woodcut prints by Meryl Engler.

Marietta College's Women's Golf Team travels to play in the OAC Fall Preview. This 2-day event will run on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, 2026. Tee off times are TBA at the River Greens Golf Course in West Lafayette, OH.

Marietta College Men's Soccer Team will host the Battling Bishops of Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on the blue turf of Marietta Field.

Marietta College's Women's Soccer Team hosts the Colonels of Centre College on Sunday, September 27, 2026. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Marietta Field.

Marietta College's JV Football Team hosts the Presidents of Washington and Jefferson University on Sunday, September 27, 2026. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. in Don Drumm Stadium.

Marietta College's Office of Admission will  be hosting a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Visit Day on Friday, October 2, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

Downtown First Friday events take place the first Friday of every month from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. February through December. Highlights of these events include shops open late, local artists and musicians, area organizations, and various happenings around town. 

Marietta College's Men's and Women's Cross Country Team travel to Live in Lou. on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Races begin at 9 a.m. The races will be held at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park, Louisville, KY. Information is available on the link above.
