Biography

Sadhana Warty Hall is an educator and practitioner of leadership committed to justice and empowerment. She began with Save the Children, spending 10 years as a program planner and trainer on community development in Tuvalu, Bhutan, Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan. She then managed primary care and family planning projects for the New Hampshire Department of Health Services.

Hall joined the Global Health Council, serving on senior management and directing signature programs including a 1,500-participant conference, membership initiatives and international partnerships.

She spent 18 years at Dartmouth College’s Rockefeller Center, serving on senior management and designing leadership programs. She received Dartmouth’s Sheila Culbert Distinguished Employee Award in 2015. As an Australian Endeavour Executive Leadership Fellow in 2019, she worked with Tranby Aboriginal Co-operative Limited to design a leadership program for Aboriginal women leaders. Her team earned Dartmouth’s Lone Pine Award for Innovation in 2022. In 2023 a Fulbright Specialist award returned her to Australia to continue work with Tranby.

Hall conceptualized curricula for several high-impact co-curricular leadership and mentoring programs. During her Dartmouth tenure, nearly 30 Rockefeller Center students earned prestigious awards including Rhodes, Truman, Fulbright, Knight-Hennessy, Schwarzman and Pickering scholarships. Alumni regularly describe the programs as transformative.

These experiences sharpened her understanding of management versus leadership and the competencies needed across sectors. Working across cultures reinforced the centrality of diversity, equity and inclusion, themes woven into the presentations and discussions she designs and facilitates.
