Sarah Long joined Marietta College in August 2019 as an Advancement Gift Officer. Sarah is passionate about storytelling, community development and advocacy work. She is excited to join the Marietta College team and work with donors, alumni, friends and students to promote not only The Long Blue Line but also to transform the city of Marietta. Prior to joining Marietta College, Sarah spent four years at IUPUI (Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis) as a Graduate Assistant then Program Coordinator within the Multicultural Center creating campus-wide programs and working with students to develop their leadership skills. Sarah volunteered and interned in a variety of museums and non-profits throughout her lifetime including the Indianapolis Zoo, Newfields Art Museum and the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art
A Marietta native, Sarah loves to kayak, bike, run, read and create art. She and her husband, a Marietta College alumnus, from the Class of 2015, live in Marietta with their two dogs.
