The 2026 Annual Conference marked a record-breaking year for Nonprofits LEAD and demonstrated the powerful impact Marietta College continues to have throughout the Mid-Ohio Valley and beyond. This year's conference welcomed 221 attendees representing 106 organizations, bringing together nonprofit leaders, board members, staff, volunteers, students, and community partners committed to creating positive change in their communities.
As a program of Marietta College, Nonprofits LEAD serves as a bridge between the College and the Mid-Ohio Valley. Each year, the conference creates opportunities for learning, collaboration, and leadership development, helping nonprofit organizations build the knowledge and connections they need to better serve others. This year, we welcomed 82 first-time attendees and surpassed our goal of 200 registrations, reflecting the growing demand for high-quality professional development and the trust organizations place in Marietta College as a community partner.
Throughout the day, participants attended educational sessions, explored resources through an expanded Vendor Fair, and connected with peers facing similar opportunities and challenges. The conference featured 37 vendors, including 18 new exhibitors, and offered practical tools and strategies that attendees could take back to their organizations immediately.
These outcomes represent something larger than a successful conference. They reflect the continued commitment of Marietta College to developing leaders, strengthening organizations, and investing in the vitality of our region. The same values that have long defined a Marietta College education, leadership, service, civic engagement, and lifelong learning, are at the heart of the work being carried out through Nonprofits LEAD every day.
