As the May meeting of Marietta College’s Board of Trustees was coming to a close — on Zoom of course — Matt Weekley ’81 added a few final remarks.
During an executive session on Thursday, Oct. 11th, Marietta College’s Board of Trustees unanimously approved a two-year contract extension for President William N. Ruud.
Ruud, who is the 19th President since Marietta was founded in 1835, will be with the College through 2022.
Timothy O. Cooper ’73, who served as Marietta College’s interim president for a few months, was honored by the Board of Trustees and President William N. Ruud during a luncheon Thursday afternoon.
